Mixing Colors with Polymer Clay
Are you looking for just that color polymer clay that is not in the range? Or is your favorite color of clay sold out every time?
Well, then I have the solution for you. Every brand, or rather almost every brand has its own color chart for mixing and creating new colors.
Keep in mind, it works just like mixing paint colors, that you will most likely not get the exact same color again. This is because you are going to mix and the amounts are almost never exactly the same next time. A single clay brand also has that a certain color sometimes turns out slightly different than it was before. The clay brands make large batches (this is a large series of the same color) at a time. And usually the colors are exactly the same, but as indicated earlier, I sometimes see a color with a single brand that differs slightly from the previous shipment.
But mixing remains fun and is just fun to do. You make the most beautiful shades and colors that you just can't normally find and these colors make your creation just that little bit more special.
