Molds & Textures
Molds are great for making things quickly, such as flowers.
You can also quickly get an impression in the clay with stamps/textures.
To prevent the clay from sticking in the mold or stamp, you can put some water in the mold/on the stamp. Do this with a spray bottle so that not too many but still some droplets get everywhere. The water ensures that the clay does not stick and this makes it easier to remove the clay from the mold and from the stamp.
The same effect can be provided with a very thin layer of cornstarch with cornstarch, mold or stamp. The cornstarch also ensures that the clay does not stick to the mold or stamp.
