Bake Delicious Royal Icing 500 grams

Preparation method:
200 grams of royal icing
70 grams of water.
First sieve the royal icing so that there are absolutely no lumps in the icing, add the 70 grams of water and mix it together, do this for 1 minute on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting for 5 minutes. Make sure to use a food processor for this. If you use a hand mixer, it can happen that the mixer gets stuck.
Store covered, for example with a kitchen towel over it. This prevents the royal icing from drying out and keeps better.
By adding water you can change the thickness of the icing, making it thinner or thicker. Once applied, the icing dries and then hardens.
The icing can give you a color by adding a colorant. This also applies to most dyes that with the added amount the color becomes more intense or not.
To decorate cookies, mix 3 tablespoons of Royal Icing (ready-made as described above) and 1 tablespoon of water. When everything is mixed, put icing on a spoon, then let it run off the spoon into the royal icing dish and you will see the icing falling from spoon into your icing dish and after 10 seconds the icing in the dish completely" smooth" then you have a good icing for cookies. If after 10 seconds the mass is not completely smooth, carefully add a little water and then check again whether the royal icing passes the 10 second test.
